The boy and his boat, has become the man at sea.

I’m calm.

It’s been a long time since I’ve heard your voice.
Too long.
But it’s been necessary.
You needed it, and I as well.
I floundered for a little while, trying to find the wind to fill the sails.
It comes in gusts, short, small, gusts.
And I move forward.
I’m still here, at sea. I know where I’m going, I think.
I had a destination, and too my knowledge I haven’t fallen off course.
I’m still trying to reach your shoreline.
It will take more then silence.
You are still under the same sun as I.
That at least gives me some respite.
Your still the only shoreline that I want to reach.
I don’t expect you feel the same way.
But I can hope.
